Occupy Victoria, the People's Assembly: Is it Over?

Posted in SocialCoast Announcements, Politics and Democracy, Equality and Human Rights

Story written by Anna

There is a notion that the occupy movement has come and gone here.  There are many faces, images, and visions of what occupy is. One can go to this link and read about occupy and surf the multitude of websites and social chat rooms about a movement that has circled the globe.

Never in history has there been such a global outcry of injustices. Many may have thought at the beginning that it was a protest that was going to come and go, a loud scream by the world  on October 15th  that would be over by Christmas. This particular united voice is different because it spans across the world into many communities focusing on many issues of injustice and inequality to the people.
